RPM Clocks

I've bought four 'car alarm clocks' from Amazon. Every single one was embarrassing — cheap plastic, fake sound, broke within a month. This is the first one that actually looks and sounds like the real thing.

The exhaust flames are what nobody talks about enough. Every other alarm clock in this category has some LED light effect that looks garish and fake. These are actual sharp aggressive pops from the rear tips in sync with the engine. First morning it went off I sat up immediately. Didn't even need to think about it. Just awake.

Got this for my boyfriend's birthday. He's the kind of guy who knows every spec of every car he's ever liked and has strong opinions about exhaust notes. He opened it, fired the alarm, and said nothing for about ten seconds. Then: 'this is the best gift I've ever received.' First time I've actually nailed it.

I hit snooze six times every morning without fail. Haven't hit snooze once since this arrived. You physically cannot ignore a supercar at full RPM going off ten inches from your face. The palm press to shut it off is the most satisfying thing I do all day.
